Who exhibits and buys at JCK Las Vegas
JCK is a business-to-business event for qualified jewelry industry professionals only. It isn't open to the public, attendees must document both their company and their employment (business cards no longer qualify), and no one 14 or under is admitted, infants included. The organizer says JCK brings together more than 30,000 professionals each year across nearly 430,000 square feet of exhibit space.
The visitors are retail buyers, jewelry designers, international buyers, and press, with more than 100 countries and regions represented and about 24 percent of attendees traveling internationally. They come to handle product and compare collections, so a JCK booth works more like a private showroom than a stage.
JCK at the Venetian Expo: halls, levels, and Luxury
JCK fills the Venetian Expo on two levels. The 2026 display rules list Halls A, B, and C, Hall D for GEMS, and the Gallery on Level 2, plus Hall G and the Level 1 ballrooms used by the Hong Kong pavilion. Timepieces sits in Level 2 ballrooms. Each area carries its own height limit, so your location shapes the design.
Luxury, the invitation-only show held just before JCK, offers its exhibitors access to more than 2,000 vetted retail buyers before JCK opens next door. For 2027, the organizer lists Luxury on June 2 and JCK from June 4 to 7, with GEMS, JCK Talks, Timepieces, and the Lifestyle Pavilion among the areas opening a day early, on June 3. If your brand shows at both, plan two sets of fixtures or a careful handoff between halls.
JCK move-in, security windows, and move-out
The 2027 exhibitor schedule hasn't been posted. For 2026, targeted move-in began May 25, the display rules required booths to be set by 5 p.m. on May 27, and May 28 was reserved for bringing in product. Exhibits had to be out of the building by 5 p.m. on June 3.
Security sets the clock. In 2026, no labor was allowed on the floor, GEMS included, from 4 to 6 p.m. on Monday, June 1, so armored cars could clear merchandise. Only Brinks, Malca-Amit, and Ferrari were authorized to provide armored car service, and outside security of any kind needed written approval from show management. Build and dismantle crews should expect fixed windows and work around them.
Designing JCK booths for showcases, light, and security
Jewelry is judged up close, so JCK booths are built around showcases. Lighting has to render metal and stones accurately without glare on the glass, and case heights should suit both standing browsers and seated buyers. A common layout pairs a run of lit cases on the aisle with private tables farther back for appointments.
Security belongs in the design, not just the staffing plan: lockable storage out of sight, a controlled entry to any back room, and clear sightlines from staff positions to every case. Branded bags need care too. Under the 2026 rules, shopping bags couldn't mention jewelry, show dates, or carry pictures of jewelry.
Power is planned around the cases. The 2026 manual gave each exhibitor one 1,000-watt electrical drop per 100 square feet, intended to power showcases from American Fixture, and required a 9-inch clearance behind hardwall booths for access to electrical equipment.
JCK exhibitor rules for height, signs, and custom booths
JCK's 2026 display regulations are strict, and they're enforced:
- In Halls A, B, and C, linear and corner booths can reach 10 feet and peninsulas and islands 20 feet; in Hall G, 8 feet for linear booths and 10 feet for peninsulas and islands; the Gallery allows 12 feet and GEMS 10 feet
- Hanging signs and banners are prohibited everywhere on the floor
- Custom booths need approval from show management, with renderings due April 3 in 2026; without that approval, exhibitors order one of the turnkey booth structures
- Double-deck booths must be islands of at least 440 square feet, and double-deck or covered booths of 1,000 square feet or more need sprinklers or an approved fire watch
- Setup and teardown use union labor, though full-time employees of the exhibiting company can set their own booth
- Outside builders are designated through the EAC portal (April 24 in 2026), and only three supervisors per approved EAC receive credentials
Las Vegas logistics for JCK week
JCK lands in early June, with Luxury and JCK filling the Venetian Expo back to back under tight security procedures. A local builder helps in practical ways: the structure comes across town on the targeted schedule, and the people who built the walls and millwork are close if something needs adjusting before product arrives.
Late changes are common with jewelry brands, from a new collection name to a revised case layout. With The Job Shop cutting parts and Vegas Visual printing graphics in the same Las Vegas building, a replacement panel or reprinted graphic doesn't depend on overnight freight.
A JCK planning timeline
Count back from a late-May or early-June move-in. As general guidance, using the 2026 deadlines for reference; our trade show checklist and the Las Vegas trade show calendar fill in the rest:
- Fall and winter: book space, decide between a turnkey structure and a custom booth, and brief your builder
- January and February: design, showcase layout, and a lighting plan
- Late March: custom booth renderings to show management, and showcase orders
- April: EAC designation and any double-deck engineering
- May: fabrication, graphics, and a walk-through before move-in
