Two levels, five halls
Venetian Expo's five exhibit halls are split across two levels. Hall G, on Level 1, is the largest at 380,000 square feet, with a 13-foot-5-inch ceiling, round columns on 30-foot centers, power from the columns, and no floor load limit. Halls A, B, C, and D are upstairs on Level 2, with ceilings of about 32 and a half feet, 24-inch square columns set 60 by 90 feet apart, utilities dropped from the ceiling, and a floor rated at 250 pounds per square foot.
Hall A is 178,000 square feet and Hall C is 188,000; Hall D is 100,600 and connects to The Venetian Ballroom. Combined, the halls reach about 1.035 million square feet, according to the venue, and two escalators in Hall G connect to Halls A and B. Halls A through C each have one 20-by-50-foot load-in door at the south end; Hall G has a 53-foot-wide slider at its north end and a 26-foot roll-up at the southeast.
Why Hall G changes the design
The two levels call for different exhibits. The venue doesn't permit flown rigging or hanging signs in low-ceilinged Hall G. Shows cap heights to match: AAPEX's 2026 display rules limit peninsula and island booths on Level 1 to 12 feet and bar double-decks there because of the ceiling.
Upstairs, the venue allows hanging signs and banners up to 25 feet over island and peninsula booths of 400 square feet or more in Halls A through D, while linear and perimeter booths can't hang signs; your show may set a lower limit. Heavy product is easier in Hall G, with its unlimited floor load, than upstairs at 250 pounds per square foot. If your space could land on either level from one year to the next, design the trade show exhibit to stand on its own without a hanging sign, with graphics that can be reconfigured.
JCK, ISC West, G2E, and other Venetian Expo shows
JCK Las Vegas runs June 4–7, 2027, ISC West April 5–9, 2027, and G2E September 27–30, 2027, all at Venetian Expo according to their organizers. CES (January 6–9, 2027) publishes a Venetian Expo manual alongside its LVCC manual, and AAPEX splits its 2026 show (November 3–5) between Venetian Expo and Caesars Forum.
These shows bring very different exhibits into the same halls: lit jewelry showcases and private buyer seating at JCK, live security systems at ISC West, banks of gaming machines at G2E. Check the Las Vegas trade show calendar for current dates, and confirm your hall early, since it decides your height and rigging options.
Exclusive services and what an outside builder installs
The Venetian Expo, Encore, Event Service Electrical, and Event Service Technology are the exclusive providers of electrical, rigging and lighting, internet, telecom, truss and motors, plumbing, and air compressors; audio-visual equipment rental for exhibitors is listed as non-exclusive. Show cleaning is exclusive to the venue too: apart from an initial wipe-down, EACs and I&D companies can't vacuum or run floor-cleaning equipment. Asked whether an exhibitor can bring in a supplier the venue doesn't employ, the exhibitor FAQ answers no and points to those exclusive services.
Encore labor handles anything attached to rated truss or the building, all lighting installation, and floor-supported items that rise more than 16 feet. Decorative, non-weight-bearing truss used as part of a booth structure can be granted an exception after Encore's rigging review with engineering stamps, and video walls supported by truss need an engineering stamp. Wiring under flooring and final electrical connections are exclusive, and individual air compressors are prohibited without advance approval.
Booth construction by an outside builder falls under your show's EAC rules; AAPEX's 2026 regulations, for example, admit approved EACs with a signed exhibitor contract and certificates of insurance. Plan the booth so the exclusive trades can work cleanly: power drop locations on the floor plan, hang points marked, and cable paths that don't depend on running wire under carpet yourself.
Freight at Venetian Expo goes through the general contractor
Venetian Expo doesn't accept or store shipments for any event. Crated freight goes to the general contractor's advance warehouse; a direct shipment is redirected to the dock if the contractor is on site and refused if not, and only the general contractor may unload exhibitor materials. Many shows run targeted move-in, with a set date and time for each booth's freight.
For AAPEX 2026, the show's shipping notice named Freeman, with an advance warehouse at 6675 W Sunset Rd accepting freight from September 23 and direct-to-dock deliveries October 29 through November 2. Every vehicle checks in first at Freeman's marshaling yard at 6555 W Serene Ave, where drivers are dispatched in check-in order once dock space opens and certified weight tickets are required.
The venue's own rules tighten things further. Loading dock space is described as extremely limited, trucks can never be parked at the dock, staging on the surrounding streets is prohibited, and empty trailers must be stored off property. Hand-carry allows two-wheel luggage but not hand carts or four-wheel dollies, and curbside unloading is limited to vehicles no larger than an SUV or pickup.
Insurance and union labor for Venetian Expo shows
The venue's contractor guide asks event organizers to require insurance from exhibitors and third-party contractors: $1,000,000 limits for general liability, auto liability, and employer's liability, a $4,000,000 umbrella, and a note that higher limits may be needed. Shows set their own EAC certificate requirements on top, so collect both before move-in.
Labor follows the show's agreements. AAPEX's 2026 union rules give Teamsters Local 631, through its labor agreement with Freeman, jurisdiction over erecting and dismantling exhibits whenever the work isn't done by the exhibitor's full-time staff, along with freight handling. Put those rules on your trade show checklist so labor orders, EAC forms, and certificates all land before the deadlines.
Food, samples, and hospitality at Venetian Expo
Exhibits here often double as meeting and hospitality space, and the venue's catering departments hold exclusive rights to all food and beverage. Outside food, drinks, logoed bottled water, and brought-in equipment such as coffee makers or water coolers aren't allowed; exceptions need written approval and carry a corkage fee.
Manufacturers can sample their own products with advance approval: the Request to Distribute Samples form is due at least seven days before show opening, sizes are restricted, and the Southern Nevada Health District requires a hand-washing station within 10 feet of open food or drink. Cooking demonstrations need approval from catering and the fire department, and the food must come from the venue. Plan a bar, coffee counter, or brand activation around those rules and the catering lead time.
From our shop to Sands Avenue
Venetian Expo is mid-Strip, a cross-town run from our shop at 4545 W Reno Ave in the southwest valley. At shows that use Freeman, the geography works in an exhibitor's favor: the AAPEX advance warehouse on W Sunset Rd shares our 89118 ZIP code, and the marshaling yard on W Serene Ave sits south of us, reached from Blue Diamond Road in Freeman's directions.
Inside the venue, freight moves between floors by elevator only; escalators are off-limits for boxes. Authorized vendors working an event park free on levels 10 through 12 of The Venetian guest garage and enter through the Heart of the House entrance for the Expo. A panel that needs recutting or a graphic that needs reprinting during install can go back to our shop or to Vegas Visual in the same building.
Read our Venetian Expo exhibitor checklist for the step-by-step version, and start a project once you have a hall and booth number.
