What ComplexCon is, and who it draws
ComplexCon is produced by Complex, which calls itself the definitive platform for global youth culture, and the event describes itself as a festival and exhibition that brings together music, style, sneakers, pop culture, art, food, and innovation. The show floor is a marketplace of hundreds of brands and artists, with sponsor activations, concerts, and food alongside.
Complex's timeline puts 2025 attendance at more than 70,000, its largest show to that point. A crowd that size rewards places with a reason to stay: something to find, taste, buy, or photograph, rather than a logo to walk past.
Where ComplexCon has been held: Long Beach, Las Vegas, Los Angeles
ComplexCon started in Long Beach, California, in 2016. In 2024 it moved its U.S. flagship to Las Vegas, growing to more than 1 million square feet, and in 2025 it returned to Las Vegas on October 25 and 26, with Complex's attendee guide pointing guests to the Las Vegas Convention Center's West Hall.
For 2026, ComplexCon moved to Los Angeles: October 3 and 4 at the Los Angeles Convention Center's South and West halls, with concerts at Crypto.com Arena. Complex hasn't announced the city or dates for 2027. Because the venue changes, each edition's build rules, freight access, and install windows come from that year's organizer and venue, so confirm them as soon as your space is set.
The Club Lounge at ComplexCon 2025
For ComplexCon 2025 in Las Vegas, Innovate 3D designed and built the Club Lounge for Chase for Business and Sushi Club: a members-only lounge hidden behind a vending machine. Guests found the vending machine in a white storefront on the show floor, discovered it opened as a door, and walked through a dark curved passage lit only by the edge of the ceiling.
Inside, concrete-textured walls curved around navy upholstered benches and block tables under a glowing backlit ceiling. A curved navy sushi bar with velvet stools anchored one room, and a Sushi Club merchandise shop sat on a raised plinth in another. Innovate 3D developed the concept and carried it through carpentry, finishing, structural builds, display elements, upholstery, millwork, and installation, taking the lounge from concept to installed in two weeks.
What a ComplexCon activation has to do
A ComplexCon brand activation is closer to a small venue than a booth. People line up, so the queue needs shape, shade, and something to look at; once inside, they stay, so seating, circulation, and capacity matter as much as the look. Treat the entry as part of the experience: a reveal, a door, or a threshold that makes people curious about what's inside.
Merchandise changes the plan. Limited drops bring surges of people and inventory that has to be restocked quickly, so the display, the register, and storage behind the wall should be designed together. The photo moment should be built into the architecture rather than added as a backdrop, because that image is what carries the activation beyond the hall.
Brand partners and vendors at ComplexCon
ComplexCon brings brands in two main ways. Vendors apply through the organizer to showcase their brand in the marketplace, which Complex pitches as a destination for pop culture, streetwear, food, art, music, and community, and the 2026 marketplace listed booths by hall. Larger brand partners appear as ComplexCon sponsors with their own activations.
Either way, build rules, height limits, power, and move-in times come from the organizer and that year's venue. Ask for them as soon as space is confirmed, and get approvals on anything unusual, such as food service, hidden doors, or enclosed rooms, before fabrication starts.
Building a ComplexCon activation from Las Vegas
When ComplexCon is in Las Vegas, a local team builds across town and installs with the shop close by. When it's in Los Angeles, the build can be trucked from Las Vegas and installed by the same team. Either way, keeping design, fabrication, and print under one roof is what makes a short schedule workable: The Job Shop cuts parts, Vegas Visual prints the graphics, and decisions get made in the same building where the pieces are made.
Plan the strike as carefully as the install. Upholstered seating, millwork, and merchandise fixtures can be reused for future events or pop-ups if they're designed to come apart cleanly and crated well.
Planning a ComplexCon activation
The Club Lounge went from concept to installed in two weeks, which shows what one team can do on a tight schedule. More time buys more options, so as general guidance, start as soon as your participation is confirmed. Our trade show checklist covers the basics, and when you're ready, start a project with the dates, venue, and what you want guests to do:
- Confirm space, city, and venue, and get the organizer's build rules
- Define the experience: what guests find, do, buy, and share
- Concept and 3D design, including queue, entry, and merchandise flow
- Approvals for food service, enclosed rooms, and anything unusual
- Fabrication, graphics, and a walk-through before it ships
- Install, the show, and a planned strike
